This time I chose to do my interpretation of the Knight of Flowers, Loras Tyrell, from George R.R. Martin's awesome series A Song of Ice and Fire. Here he is dressed as a member of the Kingsguard. He's not exactly a huge character (yet?), but I do love pretty boys. ^_~ Too bad he's only sixteen (and gay). I don't remember a whole lot of description of Loras aside from his pretty boy looks and lazy brown curls, but I do recall that his sister Margaery is described as having big doe eyes, so I tried to give him some too. Not quite the eyes I was looking for, but they'll do.

Oh my. He's so pretty.

I'd love to see you do a Margaery to put side-by-side with him. Love how polished this looks.

Thanks, though I think I can probably do better now, LOL! (But the HBO version of Loras just isn't pretty enough! >o<) I wish I had time to do my renditions of all the major characters... *sigh*

Are you serious?? I had drawn up my versions of several of the main characters a few years ago, but I can't remember posting them... Did I?? If I did, I'm not sure where they are... They were pencil headshots. Actually, I'm looking at them on my computer right now and gosh, they're so bad! ^o^; Except for perhaps Loras. Funny enough, this Loras looks really similar to the previous one I did! ^^ Hah, maybe I'll have to go back and redo all of the ones I did before now. ^^

Well it may have been another kagami noir, but I'm pretty sure I remember that name? I remember, I think, a black page with little square thumbnails, and I think they went on to two pages ... I'm not sure though, this was a while ago. Either way, I'm all for more ASOIAF art, so look forward to it if you decide to go that way

Hehe, well, not to say that I'm the only one who could come up with that name, but yeah, my "official" website is kagami noir, and IIRC, that was how it looked before its current incarnation. I just find it so funny that you would've seen those old (horrible!) ones before! ^^ I feel kind of like I gotta hurry up with ASOIAF art so that I won't end up being influenced by the TV series!

I used to hunt down ASOIAF fanart pretty fanatically, heheh. I didn't think they were horrible though, they were really unique, some of the art blends together but you have a distinct style.

Yeah I feel that way too, too bad I'm so slow. On the plus side they have yet to greenlight the first season. Then again from what I hear, they're really excited about the production.

Hahaha, well, it's certainly a series worthy of lots of awesome fanart. ^o^ You're welcome to your opinion of my old artwork, of course, LOL! Those were years ago, though, and for me, even when I look at my art from maybe just a year or so ago, I think, I can do better than that now! As old as those were, I can definitely do a lot better now! Happily, I started an ASOIAF illustration a couple days ago too, and I'm really looking forward to working on this one. ^o^

As for the HBO series, I know it's only the pilot for now, but I do hope it does well! I've been following GRRM's comments on his blog, and it's sounding pretty awesome.
